We will be talking about this experience for a long time. And we'll be bringing friends and family here as soon as we can. It's easily worth the hour and a half drive for us.

Beautiful experience! We were able to be seated even though we did not have a reservation. The food was delicious! The owner and staff warm and welcoming. Being from out of town, I gathered from speaking with other guests that Ancient Ovens is a special place to enjoy good food, good company, beautiful scenery and experience good vibes! What a gem Ancient Ovens is!

Once seated the owner walks around and introduces himself to everyone, which is nice, because you're literally sitting in his backyard. There is no menu. You're served a four course meal of what ever they're making that day. And it's amazing. But pizza is always the main course, and it's basically all you can eat. Pizza is served family style. Everyone gets in line and you grab your plate and pizza when you get to the front. You can get in line as many times as you want, until they move on to dessert, but nothing is stopping you from piling on a stack of pizza on your plate. And people do.

This place is worth it for the drive alone, and then you get to eat some delish pizza. We went for a birthday party it had an amazing time

This is the place you want to come when you have a large group of fun people getting together for casual dinner and entertainment. The location is absolutely beautiful and the drive out through the countryside was gorgeous. Dress for the weather as everything is done outside. The appetizers, pizza done in outdoor wood fired oven and a delish dessert. If you desire something else to drink other than tea and water, BYOB, (encouraged by the owners). You will need to make reservations during the peak seasons for sure. Everything is handled thru the owners and their easy website. Upon entering the area, you are shown to your table. Anytime we have gone we have been seated at one long table and we even added a few more chairs. The owners and staff are more than gracious and the food is all you can eat. The prices are very reasonable for the food and the experience. There are a couple of wineries close so allow time to visit those before heading out to Ancient Ovens. All in all , just a neat evening for good friends and family and with lots of good food in a beautiful setting at reasonable prices. You can't ask for more than that.

Lots of fun. Came with a large crowd. Good food.

My wife and I did zero research before coming here, and we were blown away by the experience. Ancient Ovens is a beautiful place to visit and walk around and the drive here is beautiful as well.
